Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director, International Enrollment.
Primary Job Duties: Lead the University’s recruitment efforts to attract international students to apply and enroll in full-time study degree study. Oversee all functions associated with matriculated international student applications admissions and marketing. Develop and oversee an international student marketing plan including participating in global recruiting fairs, developing relationships with international agents, and creating a pipeline for international transfer students. Support campus life retention and transition efforts for matriculated international students. Evaluate admissions applications, creates admission processes and builds networks that support the long-term enrollment goals of the University; and conduct workshops internationally at schools or agencies and design partnership agreements with institutions or agencies.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in International Education or Business. 1 year of experience recruiting international students to U.S. colleges and universities at public or private institutions. Must have prior experience with: Recruiting in India, China, Myanmar, Japan; creating and managing contracts with international recruitment agencies; Navigating the U.S. visa process for and with international students; residing in multiple countries and including in multiple geographic regions of the world; experience as a student in both the U.S. and abroad is required; creating international recruitment strategy plan and communication plan; working with U.S. Embassy/State Department personnel to promote a college or university. Job requires approximately 15% travel.
This is a full-time, professional, exempt State position. The work location is Salisbury, MD.
