Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Facilities (Mechanical) Engineer.

Primary Job Duties: Provide design and construction administration services for a host of annual projects. This includes HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for renovation and new projects. It will also include Construction Administration for work designed "in house" and also by outside consultants (Project Management). Project Management skills are also key to this position.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience to include Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) related experience.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral & written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

This is a full-time exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
