Primary Job Duties: Under general supervision, supervises the operation of a major copy center with finishing and bindery services. Supervises and trains staff while ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing financial and procedural efficiencies, performing billing processes, and implementing technology upgrades and systems. Ensures all deadlines are met and completed projects reflect the professional standards and branding of Salisbury University.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Bachelors degree preferred. Four years of progressively responsible experience in a copy center or print service that involves the operation of multifunctional high-speed copiers and related equipment.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills; proven ability to multi-task and effectively schedule and track jobs; knowledge of the print industry and trends; ability to estimate copy jobs; understanding of the publication needs of higher education; ability to problem solve under very tight deadlines; ability to learn and implement new technologies; hardware and software knowledge; excellent customer service skills. Additional knowledge of high-speed copy machine operation/networked digital printers (Canon, Xerox, etc.); Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe and various publishing software and user interfaces such as: Fiery Command Workstation, MicroPress and DigiPath. Experience with online ordering programs a plus.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Minimum starting salary is $14.53 per hour.
