Resident Director Position
(Graduate Level)

- Create a living learning environment conducive to sleep and study.

Job Description
- Oversee the residence hall community.
- Supervise 1-12 undergraduate resident
assistants.
- Adjudicate disciplinary hearings.
- Head departmental awareness committees.
- Assume on-call responsibilities for on-campus students.
- Coordinate all aspects of building facility
management.
- Collaborate with Office of Student Activities, Organizations and
Leadership for programs and services.
Remuneration
- Fully furnished one-bedroom apartment within
residence hall (Sample
Photos).
- Tuition waiver (up to 18 credits per year).
- Meal plan during fall and spring semesters.
- 10-month stipend.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Admission to Salisbury University graduate program.
- Residence life or student affairs experience recommended.
Selection Timeline
- Resume review begins immediately and
continues until all positions are filled.
- For those attending, we will be interviewing at
the Mid-Atlantic Placement Conference (MAPC) on February 21-22, 2013 at
the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Wyomissing, PA.
