Students who are given "waiting list" status by the Office of Admissions are placed on the waiting list based on the date Salisbury University received the student''s admission deposit. Current students are placed on the waiting list on the date they complete the waiting list application in the housing office. There is no commitment by the students to live on campus when they are placed on the waiting list.
We will offer housing to students on the waiting list as soon as space becomes available. We recognize that the earlier the offer, the better for the student and family. If your number-one choice is to live on campus, we ask that you check with the Housing Office before you solidify any off-campus plans. We will inform you of where we are in the process at that time
To begin to explore housing options, please refer to the off campus housing website. It has a number of different options that will assist you in the process to secure housing. We recommend that you begin the process of looking for off campus housing when you receive your waiting-list status.
Students who wish to live on-campus during the summer sessions or winter session need to visit the housing office to complete a room reservation. Students are eligible to live on-campus if they are enrolled in classes or work on-campus. Students who are working on-campus need to bring their work contract with them when they complete the room reservation.
