Hannah EnnerfeltStudent-Scholar profile: Hannah Ennerfelt

Hannah Ennerfelt is being considered for a Fulbright study/research grant at Uppsala University, the oldest campus in the Nordic countries. A senior from Salisbury who is pursuing a dual degree in biology and psychology, she is planning on a career in neuroscience. With the Fulbright, she hopes to conduct ALS stem cell research in a neuroscience lab at Uppsala. At SU, she received the John and Mary-Clair Roth Prize for her Honors thesis and is a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa, Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. She also earned an honorable mention for the Barry Goldwater scholarship, considered one of the nation’s most prestigious for undergraduates in the sciences. But, she loves the arts too, including playing piano, painting and reading. Her father has Swedish roots and, when she was young, she recalls learning some Swedish from Pippi Longstocking books and making cardamom rolls with her grandmother.
