Rebecca Flax

I am a current junior, working towards my degree in Exercise Science - Allied Health. I'm also taking prerequisites for Physical Therapy School, so I hope to be a Physical Therapist in a few years! I have completed over 100 Physical Therapy Observation hours, so contact me if you have any questions about those. I'm from Baltimore County, specifically the Pikesville area, and I'm the only college junior from my high school attending SU! Along with being involved in the Honors College and Honors Student Association, I'm a member of Phi Mu, a sorority here on campus. I'm a member of Student United Way, a volunteer club on campus. I'm the President of The Hillel of Salisbury Univeristy, and I'm a university host! I'm also involved in an organization off-campus called Athletes Serving Athletes, which is an organization that helps those that are mobility impaired to complete and compete in competitive races from 5K's to iron-mans! Their motto is "Together We Finish." I also had the opportunity to present a research paper in Pittsburgh this past April at the Northeast Regional Honors Conference. When I'm not studying, you can find me running around campus, hanging with friends, or playing with cats and dogs at the Humane Society. I know it's difficult getting involved, especially with being the only person from your high school or area to come to Salisbury, so please feel free to contact me with any questions about becoming involved on campus, or general college life questions.
