I am a Senior nursing major at Salisbury University. I am from Ellicott City, Maryland, however, I have spent a good amount of my childhood on the Eastern shore because most of my family lives in the Salisbury and Ocean City area. I love summertime, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy staying active by playing soccer, working out, and going hiking. Since becoming a Salisbury student, I’ve been involved in undergraduate research, the Symphony Orchestra, the Student Nurses Association, the Women’s Club Soccer team, the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and the Supplemental Instruction program on campus. Some of my major accomplishments since coming to the university include presenting research at Regional Honors Conferences, receiving my International Mentor Training Program Certification, and becoming a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. In addition to being involved on campus, I work as a part-time nursing assistant at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Following graduation, I intend to apply for graduate school, obtain a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, and pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.
