I am currently a junior with senior standing working to graduate a year early with a B.S. in Information Systems here at Salisbury University. My hometown is Southampton, New Jersey, but I absolutely love it here at Salisbury!
During my freshman and sophomore year, I was part of the Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community. I attended business meetings, networking sessions, field-trips to local Eastern Shore businesses as well as went to the TEDCO Entrepreneur Expo in Baltimore.
I am currently the Secretary for the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization and am involved in the Student Entrepreneurship Competitions here on campus. I am also involved in Outdoor Club, CHAARG (Changing Health, Attitudes, and Actions to Recreate Girls), and Girls on Top of the World (a community service based club which helps the Eastern Shore). Additionally, I am a Univeristy Host which entails giving a tour to perspective students each week, as well as at Open Houses.
Over the Winter 2017 Semester, I studied abroad in Costa Rica for 12 days. The trip consisted of visiting businesses, analyzing trade and business transactions, entrepreneurship, and of course fun excursions and hikes. I absolutely love adventure and this trip was the best of both worlds: exploring a beautiful country while still developing my business and entrepreneurial skills.
The past two summers I have obtained internships regarding my field of Information Systems. I hope to work with and design databases and business projects when I graduate.
Since I am graduating in 3 years, I have decided to go for my Masters in Business Administration here at Salisbury and sit for my SAP Certification. The Honors College has given me many opportunities as well as confidence to be able to do the things that I have set out for myself. I look forward to representing the Honors College as a student ambassador this year and would love to answer any questions or get coffee and chat! Feel free to reach out at any time!
