The Honors College is designed to bring together high-achieving students and dedicated faculty in a small university environment. It offers motivated students who are serious about their intellectual growth a variety of special enhanced classes. The College fosters close individual contact between students and faculty and brings together talented students from across campus. Honors courses and extracurricular activities are intended to enrich and complement other educational opportunities and programs available to Salisbury University students.
Honors courses vary by semester and range across all subject matters. Often times they can be cross listed and count towards both Honors and General Education requirements. The course list for the Fall 2016 semester can be found here.
The Honors College offers scholarships to incoming students who have demonstrated academic accomplishment and the promise for leadership and success on Salisbury University's campus. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years and $500 to $2,000. Visit the Scholarship Opportunities for more information and a list of previous scholarship recipients.
