Thank you for your interest in the Bellavance Honors program at Salisbury University. Students who have been admitted to Salisbury University, and who would like to apply to the Honors Program are invited to apply electronically.

Prospective Freshmen

First year freshmen should apply by sending an email to honorsprogram@salisbury.edu which includes your full name, mailing address, home telephone number, current GPA, your most recent SAT scores, Salisbury University ID number, prospective major, and a copy of a recent composition that you are proud to have written (a paper on any topic). Please submit your essay as an attachment in a Microsoft Word format.

Your other academic and extra-curricular information will be available to us through the Admissions Office of Salisbury University.

For best consideration, students should submit their applications by March 4, 2011 for the Fall semester. Applicants who submit after this date may be waitlisted. We are always happy to answer questions about the application process, or any other Honors Program matter.

Applications from students who have not yet been offered admission to Salisbury University cannot be considered.

Transfer Students

Transfer students interested in joining the Honors program should email Dr. Jay Carlander, Interim Director. Please include your full name, Salisbury University ID number, the number of credits you are bringing with you to Salisbury University, post-secondary GPA, and do let us know if you have been part of a college Honors program elsewhere.

Current Salisbury University Students

Current Salisbury University students who are interested in joining the Honors program should email Dr. Jay Carlander, Interim Director. Please include your full name, Salisbury University ID number, your current GPA, the number of credits you have obtained, and the contact information of a professor on campus who knows your capacity for academic work.
