Capitol Science (CapSci) Conference 2012
The Henson School of Science and
Technology at Salisbury University represents the
only
University Student Affiliate of the Washington Academy of
Sciences. With this
honor comes an invitation for SU students to present their
research at the biennial Capitol Science (CapSci) conferences.
CapSci ’12 is being held March 31 and April 1 at
“University Row” in DC; SU students have been given a slot on
Sunday, April 1 for a mini-symposium.
Students from all disciplines housed in
the Henson School are eligible to participate; CapSci ’12
is one month before the
Salisbury University Student Research Conference (SUSRC) (www.salisbury.edu/susrc)
and provides SU students with an excellent opportunity to
practice their presentations.
Students who wish to attend CapSci while not presenting are
also welcomed. Nearly every scientific discipline imaginable
will be represented including (but not limited to) cybernetics,
chemistry, biology, physics, food safety, philosophy, and
medicine.
If you are interested in participating,
please submit your name, discipline, and topic
to Dr. Eugene Williams (eewilliams@salisbury.edu)
or Dr. Victor Miriel (vamiriel@salibury.edu).
