Health Professions Advisory Program (HPAP)

Who are the Health Professions Program Advisors?

The Health Professions Advisory Committee (HPAC) includes faculty from the departments of biology, chemistry, physics, nursing and health sciences.  There are twelve members of this committee.

These committee members are the assigned faculty advisors for pre-health students. They meet each semester with their advisees to discuss long range academic planning, health career goals, academic progress, and course plans for the following semester.  They also meet for “mock” admission interviews with junior pre-health (medicine, dentistry, vet medicine) students in preparation for health professions school application.
