SMDEP

Per the website, http://www.smdep.org/ “The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP) is a free (full tuition, housing, and meals) six-week summer academic enrichment program that offers freshman and sophomore college students intensive and personalized medical and dental school preparation.” This is a wonderful opportunity to consider if you are currently a freshman or a sophomore with a minimum overall GPA of 2.5, are a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent resident visa and have not have previously participated in SMDEP. Other factors considered by SMDEP are discussed on the website.
