Henson School Undergraduate Student Research Fund
Call For Proposals

The
Research and Faculty Development Committee would like to
announce a Call for Research Proposals to support undergraduate
research.
The Henson
School Undergraduate Student Research Fund is intended to help
support student undergraduate research conducted with a faculty
supervisor. The grant money can be used for equipment, supplies
and materials, photocopying, photography and preparation of
slides or overheads for presentations, sample analysis at
designated laboratories, and other appropriate research
expenses. Grant awards can be made to an individual student more
than once, but cannot cumulatively exceed $350 per student. The
maximum award for multi-student projects will be as follows: 1
student = $350, 2 students = $600, 3 students = $750, 4 or more
students = $800.
Students
must have a declared major in the Henson School and be enrolled
as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) or a
part-time student (minimum of 6 credit hours) during the
project's duration. A full-time University faculty member must
agree to serve as advisor to the project and ensure a final
report is presented.
Note: Students may only be listed as an author on
one proposal per semester.
Application forms and guidelines are only available on-line at

Applications must be submitted digitally in PDF format (if you
need help please ask your research advisor), with the
appropriate form. Failure to follow instructions may void the
application. You will receive a confirmation email after
you submit your proposal. If you do not receive a
confirmation email within 24 hours, you should assume that your
proposal has not been submitted successfully.
