NASA International Space Apps Challenge

The International Space Apps challenge is a NASA-sponsored mass collaboration focused on space exploration that will take place over 48 hours (April 20-21, 2013) in 75 cities around the world – including Salisbury, Maryland!  The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions.  The challenges are focused on improving life on Earth and life in space in the areas of open source software, open hardware, data visualization and citizen science.  Anyone can participate in the challenge; individuals with a broad range of skills are needed!  NASA is looking for engineers, technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, students, entrepreneurs – anyone with a passion for changing the world is welcome to participate!
