 Mike Folkoff is
Associate
Dean of the Henson School of Science and Technology for the Fall
2008 –Spring 2009 academic year.
Mike is a Professor in the Department of Geography
and Geosciences with teaching and research interests in
Soil Geomorphology, Surface Hydrology and Cartography.
A former Department Chair, he most recently was the
Graduate Coordinator for the newly approved Masters of
Science in GIS and Public Administration.
He has been a faculty member at Salisbury since 1990
after appointments at the University of Connecticut and
the University of New Orleans. He holds a PhD in
Physical Geography, climatic effects on soil physical
and chemical properties, from the University of Georgia.
