Email and Mobile Security
Information Technology helps protect the privacy, confidentiality and integrity of Salisbury University resources and data through a combination of technology and awareness.
Any email you receive that claims to be from the IT Help Desk or an IT Administrator that asks you to provide your SU account username or password should be questioned as to its validity even if it appears to be coming from an SU account. If you have a question about the authenticity of an email, or if an email appears to be suspicious, you should call the Help Desk to confirm prior to clicking links, replying or submitting any information.
Email Signature Confidentiality Note
As we depend more and more on our electronic devices as a means of communication, chances of our emails unintentionally being sent to the wrong recipient(s) are increasing. We encourage faculty and staff to add this Confidentiality Note to the signature of their email, both within Outlook and on any device(s) that may be set up to send and receive SU email.

If you have received this message in error, you are hereby notified that any dissemination, distribution, copying or other use of this message is prohibited and you are requested to delete and destroy all copies of the email, and to notify the sender immediately at his/her electronic mail.
