I'm graduating. Is there anything I need to do to "prep" my account for alumni use?

The only change to your email will be that you will now use the "Forgot your password" link on the Outlook login page rather than the myPassword page.

In order for you to use that, you'll need to set up your Password Reset Information in your Account page.

• Login to your account page at https://account.live.com/
• Set your question and alternative e-mail address by clicking Change next to each of them.
• Set your mobile phone number. If your account becomes temporarily blocked, Microsoft will send you a text message code to reset it.

Once you get this set up, you will be able to use the "Forgot your password" link to reset your Outlook Live account password.

Note: For current students, this will change your password for your Outlook Live account as well. However, it does not sync to our Active Directory, so using this will end up creating a different password from your Active Directory account (logging into the computers, wireless, myClasses, etc.). Setting a new password at the myPassword page will overwrite any changes you make there and resync this account with your Active Directory password.
