In addition to the standard
software installed on every campus computers, many of
our labs have specialized software installed by request
for certain departments and classes.
The availability of these software programs are
dependent upon the type of license purchased by the
University or Department requesting the software,
and may not be available in all labs.
The following software programs have been purchased with
a University or unlimited license, and can be installed
by request on any SU-owned faculty or staff computer:
- Microsoft Office
- GeoGebra
- Geometers
Sketchpad
- Mathematica
- Research Insight
- PASW (formerly
SPSS)
- Tinkerplots
- Fathom
- SAPGUI
- Textpad
- Peachtree
Other software, such as Adobe
Creative Suite, MS
Project, Maple or Minitab, will require the requesting
department to purchase a license before we are able to
install additional copies of that software on any
SU-owned faculty or staff computer.
