At the end of the Fall and Spring Semesters, IT extends its TETC lab hours to 24 hours for the week immediately preceding Finals week, and ending on or around Reading Day and before the first day of final exams. Check this page for exact dates for your current semester as the end of semester approaches, typically posted after Thanksgiving Break during the Fall Semester and at the end of April during Spring Semester.

2013 Spring Semester 24 Hour Labs

In order to accommodate students studying needs as we approach finals, Information Technology will have labs in TETC, Fulton Hall and Perdue Hall open 24 hours starting Sunday, May 5th and concluding at 5PM on Friday, May 10th. Coffee, tea and healthy snacks will be provided at the Help Desk during the overnight sessions in the TETC labs. Lab rules regarding food and drink still apply on overnight labs.

2013 Spring Semester Finals Week Hours

Information Technology will have the TE, Fulton, Perdue Hall and Blackwell Library 203 labs open normal business hours. Devilbiss Hall 205 will be open for finals only at this time. This may be subject to change, so check back as we approach finals. The hours for the open labs are listed below:

Sunday, May 12th	Noon to Midnight
Monday, May 13th	8AM to Midnight
Tuesday, May 14th	8AM to Midnight
Wednesday, May 15th	8AM to Midnight
Thursday, May 16th	8AM to Midnight
Friday, May 17th	8AM to 7PM

All labs are closed from May 18th through to the start of the Fall Semester, except the IT Help Desk and the TE labs, which will be open from 8AM to 5PM Monday May 20th through Monday, May 27th. We will resume normal Summer Semester hours on Tuesday, May 28th.

In Between Semester Hours

The Help Desk and one TE lab will typically remain open from 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday during times when the University is open but no classes are in session (in between semesters).

Holidays and Campus Closures

The IT labs are closed whenever the campus is closed, including the following holidays:

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Spring Break
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Break
Christmas Break

Inclement Weather Closures

Typically during inclement weather, Information Technology will make every effort to keep at least one computer lab open, typically TETC. Hours may be shortened, and labs may not be open in the event of extreme circumstances. Check the main Help Desk webpage for details during such events and conditions.
