Manually configuring permissions for sharing a folder or calendar
You can also manually configure the permissions for a folder or calendar, rather than using the preset permissions above.
Create items: Users can post items to the folder.
Read Items: Users can read items in the folder.
Create Subfolders: Users can create additional folders inside the folder.
Folder Owner: The owner has all permissions for the folder. This permission is should be left unchecked when setting permissions.
Folder Contact: The folder contact receives automated messages from the folder, such as replication conflict messages, requests from users for additional permissions, and other changes to the folder status. This permission is rarely used.
Folder Visible: Users can see the folder, but cannot see the contents unless they have Read Items permission as well. Every user should have this checked when sharing a folder.
Edit Items: Users can edit all items or only those items they own.
Delete Items: Users can delete all items or only those they own.
