Career opportunities.....

This education and certification forms the foundation of a future for the medical technology graduate in many laboratory-related professions including, but not limited to hospital laboratories. SU graduates have been placed in hospital, veterinary and research laboratories, private companies and even the Food and Drug Administration. Many have also enrolled in graduate school, including medical school and pharmacy school. Students planning on graduate study should know that a B.S. in medical technology is a useful degree both to get into graduate school and to have a viable career option if graduate or professional school must be delayed. Students interested in graduate or professional schools must meet additional course requirements for entry into those programs.
