Scholarships
Dr. Theodore Wiberg Health Careers Materials Award
Requirements:
- Student must be accepted into an Allied
Health Major at Salisbury University.
- Student must have a grade point average
of 3.5 or higher.
- Student must be recommended by two
professors or members of the allied health community.
- Students must provide a 250 - 500 word
essay detailing their career goals and the impact a Dr.
Theodore Wiberg Health Career Materials Award would have on
their studies at Salisbury University.
Award Amount: $500 / semester
Details:
- Awards can be renewable so long as the
criteria noted above is maintained and application is made,
although an essay will not be required for a renewal award.
- Selections of award recipients will be
made by the Dean of the Henson School of Science and
Technology, the Chairman of the Department of Health
Sciences, and a member of the Wiberg Family.
MD/DC Society Student Scholarship -
Karrie Lipscomb Achievement Award
Scholarship Criteria:
The student must have at least a 3.0 GPA and show
financial need. This scholarship is typically awarded in the
fall semester to a second year respiratory care student enrolled
in a respiratory care program in Maryland and the District of
Columbia. Scholarship selection is based on recommendation from
program faculty and priority will be given to those students who
are in the most financial need and meet the required minimum
GPA. Completed application must be provided to the SU program
director. |
