Meghan Smith East holds bachelor’s degrees in both Medical Laboratory Science and Biology from Salisbury University. She holds a Master’s of Science degree from Towson/Essex as a Physician Assistant. While practicing several years as Physician Assistant, she also taught laboratories in Pathophysiology at Salisbury University. As a faculty member in the Salisbury University Medical Laboratory Science Program, Meghan is talented at connecting a patient’s clinical presentation and history with laboratory findings. This permits MLS students to have a clear view of the vital role that the laboratory plays in health care and promotes their effectiveness in clinical practice.
