LAB MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST:

Performs a variety of chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests and procedures and related duties, according to established standards and practices, to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Education: Appropriate experience, coursework in chemistry, biology and math and completion of an accredited clinical, hospital-based program can be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree. ASCP preferred
