| Description: | Provides grants to promote the study of cultural, political, historical, economic and social aspects of modern and contemporary German affairs from an inter- and multi-disciplinary perspective. Candidates must be nominated by department and/or program chairs. Master's level candidates are eligible. Grants are restricted to citizens of the United States who are enrolled full time at the university that nominates them. Awards range from $1,500 - $2,500. Other grants and scholarships also
available. Deadlines vary.
