| Description: | Funding supports scholarly projects that promote the appreciation, interpretation, preservation, study and teaching of European art from antiquity to the early 19th century. Funding is offered under three main areas: History of Art and Conservation (deadlines: 1/15, 4/1, 10/15) and Digital Resources (4/1, 10/1). Awards are up to $100,000. Applicants are strongly encouraged to include a CD containing a complete set of the application materials in addition to printed materials.
