Description: Funding allows institutions with significant enrollments of students from underrepresented groups to provide training (T34) for honors minority undergraduates at junior & senior level. The goal is to prepare students for entry into graduate programs leading to the Ph.D. in a biomedical science & supports efforts to strengthen the science/math course curricula, pedagogical skills of faculty, and biomedical research training at minority institutions. Submission is limited to one application per institution. The program expired but NIH plans to announce new PAR soon with a tentative deadline of 5/24/13.
