Description: Funding supports proposals to develop an Earth or space science payload that will fly on a NASA suborbital vehicle, such as a sounding rocket, balloon, aircraft, or commercial suborbital reusable launch vehicle, through NASAs unique suborbital research platforms for student educational flight opportunities. Universities are encouraged to involve students across its many schools, (e.g., science, engineering, and humanities). NASA expects to select approximately 15-20 projects for implementation, with a funding cap for each project of $50K.
