| Description: | Funding supports a network of university centers (P42) that are designed to seek solutions to complex health and environmental issues associated with the nation's hazardous waste sites. Proposals must be multi-project, interdisciplinary efforts that bring together investigators from different scientific disciplines, such as environmental health sciences and engineering disciplines (geochemical, ecological sciences). NIEHS intends to commit $10 million in FY 2014 to fund up to five awards. Limited submission: one application per institution.
