| Description: | Funding supports research (R41/42) at small business concerns (SBC) that have the research capabilities and technological expertise to contribute to the R&D mission(s) of NIH. At least 40% of the work must be performed by the SBC and at least 30% of the work must be performed by a single, partnering research institution. The deadline is for proposals for Phase I feasibility studies. Support is normally provided for six months/up to $150,000 for Phase I and up to $1 million for Phase II. Expired 1/8/13 but NIH plans to renew.
