| Description: | PHS's SBIR program supports grant applications (R43/R44) to NIH, CDC, ACF and FDA from small businesses in biomedical or behavioral research areas. Objective of Phase I is to establish the technical/scientific merit and feasibility of the proposed R/R&D efforts. Support is normally provided for six months/up to $150,000 for Phase I and up to $1 million for Phase II. AIDS-related projects are due by 1/7; 5/7; & 9/7. Expired 1/8/13 but NIH plans to renew.
