| Description: | Funding supports graduate and postgraduate research using the resources of the Huyck Preserve in ecology, taxonomy, animal behavior, evolution, geology, conservation biology, and land use history. Habitats include hemlocks, conifers, hardwood stands, a bog, lakes, streams, and a waterfall. Bald eagles, otters, bobcats, fishers, wood turtles, salamanders, herons, and fauna are abundant. Facilities include wet/dry labs, a conference center, and a library. Awards are up to $3,500.
