Description: Funding supports projects to develop and implement scientifically valid alternatives to use of animals in research, product testing, & education. Programs also seek to increase public awareness of such alternatives. Graduate Fellowships assist students whose programs of study seem likely to have impact in one or more of these areas. Fellowships provide $12,500 annually plus $2,500 for supplies. Eligibility is limited to students enrolled in Master's & Ph.D. programs in science, humanities, psychology, and journalism. The annual deadline is 3/15.
