| Description: | This program is supported by SAMHSA and provides fellowships for nurses who are interested in a career that focuses on the prevention and treatment of mental illness and substance abuse and supports the study on minority psychiatric-mental health and substance abuse issues. Funding supports Pre-doctoral & Postdoctoral clinical research fellowships. Stipends vary depending on funding for the year. In the past, high has been $28,260/year for up to two years. Applications are due 3/1 annually.
