| Description: | Funding supports national faculty development programs in the humanities for school teachers or university faculty in four models. Seminars and institutes may last from two to five weeks and may be hosted by colleges, universities, school systems, learned societies, centers for advanced study, libraries or professional organizations. Awards for seminars range from $70,000-$140,000 for a grant period of 12 months. Awards for institutes range from $90,000-$200,000 for a grant period of 15 months.
