| Description: | Funding supports activities to make the arts more widely available, especially in areas where the arts can strengthen communities, particularly in projects that extend to underserved populations, those limited by geography, ethnicity, economics, or disability. Funding will be based upon meeting the following four goals: creation, engagement, learning, and livability; applicants will be asked to identify which of these is most relevant to their project in their application. The program also supports investigations about impact of U.S. arts sector.
