Description: Funding supports basic scientific research about the causes, consequences, and complexities of human social and cultural variability. Annual target dates for Senior Research by Ph.D. investigators, Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement, High-Risk Research in Anthropology, and training and workshops are 1/15 and 8/15. Annual target dates for Cultural Anthropology Scholar awards for research-related, postdoctoral training are 1/16 and 8/16. Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) and Graduates (REG) proposals are due 3/1.
