If you wish to apply for grant funding, consult with the
chairperson of your Department, the Dean of the School (or
appropriate Vice President) and the research staff in the Office
of Graduate Studies and Research before you begin preparing your
proposal. If applying for funding from a government agency, we
highly recommend that you consult the appropriate program
officer within the agency as well. The Office of Graduate
Studies and Research can help you find information about the
funding source and prepare a narrative in the appropriate form.
