International Students

The Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University welcomes qualified international students to its programs at both the Graduate and Undergraduate levels. As internationalizing the business curriculum is one of the major goals of the School, it recognizes the importance of diversifying its student body so exposure can be gained at two levels. First, international students attending SU can participate in an American system of higher education. They learn valuable cultural insights to the American way of learning and develop a social awareness of Americans. Second, SU students gain valuable exposure to students from other nations and their cultural differences. Combined, students of all nationalities work together in situations both in the classroom and out.

Undergraduate International Students-The course structure of the international business student will depend on what level the international undergraduate students enter Salisbury University as determined by Admissions. Once the equivalent year (ie. Sophomore, Junior etc.) has been established, the appropriate class schedule can be determined. The general policy of the Perdue School is to have undergraduates complete required lower-level division courses, then with approval, enroll in higher-level division courses. Higher-level division courses usually occur at the Junior and Senior level. The Perdue School of Business offers seven degrees: the Bachelor of Science in Accounting; the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; the Bachelor of Science in Finance; the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems; the Bachelor of Science in Management; the Bachelor of Science in Marketing; and the Bachelor of Arts in Economics. For more information on the particulars of undergraduate requirements, consult the Undergraduate Catalog.

Graduate International Students-Admission into the Graduate School of the Perdue School of Business is based on a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited university, and the appropriate core of undergraduate courses generally including Accounting Principles, Macro/Micro Economics, Principles of Management and Statistics. A complete and comprehensive list of requirements can be found in the Salisbury University Graduate Catalog or click on this link to the MBA web site.  In addition to the foundation courses, transcripts, GMAT scores, Letters of Recommendation, TOEFL Examination, and a Resume are all required.  Conditional admission may be granted for students who need to complete the foundation courses once all other admittance criteria have been completed.
