International Faculty Development

As part of the Perdue School of Business's Mission Statement of April 2, 1995, the business school will meet the challenge of preparing its students for the 21st century by stressing, "faculty as facilitators of learning and placing curricular emphasis on the international aspects of business management." To this end, the Perdue School of Business recognizes the need for its faculty to participate in programs both domestically and abroad which will aid them in accomplishing these goals. Currently, faculty participate in the bi-annual study abroad program with funding support from the Perdue School and many faculty members have participated in teacher exchanges or other individualized programs. Still, the opportunity is great for further participation by faculty in programs that are international in nature and to seek outside sources of funding to support their efforts.
