Why We Call
Salisbury University Phonathon
Salisbury University’s two annual Phonathons account for 60 percent of alumni giving for the fiscal year. Personal phone calls remain the best way to reconnect with our alumni by providing a personal connection to your Alma Mater. Our highly trained and enthusiastic student callers reach out to almost 35,000 alums over an eight-week period, Sunday through Thursday, from 6 p.m. EST until 9 p.m. EST.
Why We Call
To provide alumni with the most up-to-date information regarding SU’s growth, evolution and accomplishments
To update your contact information for you, including marriages, children, employment, addresses and phone numbers. By having your latest information, we are able to share with you our monthly e-newsletter and our yearly SUMagazine, an informative piece that helps keep you in touch with your former classmates and campus happenings.
To ask for your financial support of current SU students and help maintain SU’s reputation as A Maryland University of National Distinction. Tuition only covers some 80 percent of the actual cost to educate a student at SU today. As government funding continues to decline, we must look to private sources to maintain the quality and affordable education that is the hallmark of the SU experience.
Finally, to say “Thank you!” It can not be said enough or in too many ways. Please know the entire campus community appreciates your devotion to SU and understanding the importance of alumni gifts.
