Welcome to my web page.

I am an Associate Professor of Nursing at Salisbury University where I teach clinical and classroom nursing for Pediatric Nursing. I am also the classroom instructor for the Pharmacotherapeutics elective course and the History of Nursing course, an Honors course. My area of interest, research, writing, speaking, and publishing is nursing during the Civil War as well as medicine and pharmacy during that time period. I have been teaching at SU for 20 years. Before I came to SU I taught in a local community college for 7 years and worked at 2 local community hospitals.
