Kenneth Smith
The recipient of multiple accolades for teaching excellence, including the Maryland Outstanding Educator Award, Dr. Kenneth Smith has been praised for his “flipped classroom” model giving students a realistic experience of work in accounting. He actively helps students with job placement, including organizing a “Meet the Firms” night to connect them with potential employers and opportunities for students to observe workers in the field. Smith also was instrumental in obtaining AACSB accreditation for Accounting and Legal Studies.
