ENVR Major and Minor


The Environmental Studies (ENVR) major contains a 35-credit core (11 of which can be applied towards general education requirements) that includes two environmental studies courses and 29 additional credits from a mix of classes in the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Students must also complete 12 credit hours from a list of elective courses.

The ENVR minor consists of 18 credit hours, with course choices taken from 15 different fields.

ENVR 102: Intro to Sustainability

Follow along with our department's Introduction to Sustainability course, which involves experiential examination of the effects human activities have on the environment, including immersive weekly field trips.
