ENVR Major and Minor

Student birding outing. The Environmental Studies major contains a 35-credit core (11 of which can be applied towards general education requirements) that includes two environmental studies (ENVR) courses and 29 additional credits from a mix of classes in the humanities, sciences and social sciences. Students must also complete 12 credit hours from a list of elective courses. The ENVR minor consists of 18 credit hours, with course choices taken from  15 different fields.

Since we are transitioning to a department in the fall of 2012, older students will want to use the "old" requirements list here-- Pre-2012 ENVR major Checklist --while new students will need to follow these "new" requirements--2012-13 ENVR major Checklist

Similarly, we offer here both the "old" Pre-2012 ENVR minor Checklist and the "new" 2012-13 ENVR minor Checklist.
