Practicum in Portfolio Management students attend
G.A.M.E Forum in New York City, March 31-April 2, 2016
Thanks to a generous gift from the PNC Foundation, SU students were able to participate in the G.A.M.E. Forum in New York City for the fifth consecutive year. Seven students from the Practicum in Portfolio Management class attended the premier conference in investment and asset management education for students. The conference attracted over 1400 participants from 48 states, and over 40 countries. The conference featured over 100 speakers from more than 80 different organizations. Some of the featured speakers included high profile practitioners in the investments field such as Anastasia Amoroso, David Asman, Abby Joseph Cohen, Douglas Cote, David Darst, Bob Doll, Kathleen Hays, Tom Keene, JJ Kinahan, John Rogers, Joseph Terranova among many others.
This outstanding experience made possible by continued generous support of the PNC Foundation further enhanced the experiential learning opportunities supported by the department and the Perdue School of Business, allowing students to attend breakout sessions exploring a multitude of investment practice topics, in addition to hearing from some of the most prominent investment professionals in the country in the panel discussions. The event also provided an invaluable networking opportunity to our students, connecting them with many decision makers on Wall Street.
