The Office of Diversity is a newly created office at  Salisbury University that reports to the Provost. The office was established in the Spring of 2004 with its doors opening July 15, 2004. The office will be responsible for guiding the university’s diversity efforts through various initiatives which support the mission, vision and values of the university. These initiatives will enhance the campus climate, curriculum and co-curricular activities.

"Since coming to Salisbury University nearly seven years ago, the diversity of our students, staff, and faculty has been of great importance to me. Though we still have much to accomplish, we have made progress in our attracting and maintaining a more diverse student body, in expanding our study abroad opportunities, and in encouraging greater sensitivity and appreciation for the differences that each of us bring to the table."

Dr. Janet Dudley-Eshbach
