Kevin R. Carreathers is the
Assistant to the Provost/Director of Institutional Diversity at
Salisbury University, Salisbury, MD. In 1979, he obtained a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North
Texas. He obtained a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling
from Prairie View A&M University in 1980. He has taken courses toward
his Ph.D. at the University of North Texas, Texas A&M University and The
University of Memphis.
Mr.
Carreathers is a founder of the Southwestern Black Student Leadership
Conference, the largest student run conference in the country. He is
also the co-founder of the Diversity Education Institute, a training
program for university staff members who are charged with the
responsibility of presenting diversity workshops and founder of the
Multicultural Affairs Institute. He has served as a consultant on
diversity, student retention and mentoring for numerous universities,
agencies and businesses.
Clacie D. Hubbard, Administrative
Assistant to the Office of Diversity at Salisbury University. She
received her Applied Associate Degrees in Office Technology and
Executive Secretary from Wor-Wic community in Salisbury, MD. She
worked in the Office of the President & Academic Affairs for 7 years.
Ms. Hubbard
was a President of Staff Senate for 2
consecutive years. During her presidency she was recognized by the
President, Dr. Janet Dudley-Eshbach in her
State of the
University
and
received
a
plaque for
her
Outstanding
Leadership.
She also was a member of Council of University System
Staff a voice for Staff employee concerns in reference to basic
decisions that affect the welfare of the University System of Maryland,
its constituent institutions, and its employees.
