Salisbury University values diversity among our students, faculty, and staff and believes that interactions with those holding varying perspectives, backgrounds, and beliefs contribute to a well-rounded educational experience and promotes personal and professional development.  Understanding and acceptance of others is of ever-increasing importance in today’s world.

The Office of Diversity works in partnership with the Office of Human Resources to educate and support employees in the search and selection process; and compiles applicant and employee data on an annual basis to assist the University in diversifying and retaining a high quality workforce.

The Office of Diversity directly assists with Fair Practice issues supporting Salisbury University’s Policy Prohibiting Sexual and Other Discriminatory Harassment (PDF) and also hears complaints in regards sexual harassment and discrimination on campus and works in partnership with appropriate parties to resolve these issues.
